SetupStream 2 gives you the possibility to create small, powerful and feature-rich Setup Wizards. Setupstream 2 offers: creating, loading and modification/rebuilding of saved setup datasheets; modification of the Windows registry; defining separate destination directories for each file; using variables which are replaced by the setup wizard during the installation process; adding shortcuts to the Desktop, Start Menu, Programs folder, and Quick Launch bar, while giving the user the ability of choosing whether to create common or current-user-only shortcuts (on windows NT based systems); displaying a license agreement which must be accepted in order to continue the installation process; serial number check by giving the developer the possibility of using his own serial checking DLL; defining package names for single files so that a user can specify which packages should be installed on his computer; preventing your program from being installed on inappropriate Windows versions; high data package compression by using the LZH algorithm; registering DLL and OCX files; uninstaller which rolls back all changes done to a user’s system during the installation process and which is accessible using the add-/remove programs link in the control panel...
