It's possible to do quite a bit of (hopefully temporary) damage if you don't know what you're doing, but equally it's possible to improve your PC's performance for specific tasks without shelling out for new hardware. The code they sent didn't work gives a message "unlock verification failed" Their phone number dissconnects after a few seconds without answering.
