It recovers data even if, Mac displays the following messages:
? Segment Loader Error.
? No Such volume.
? Bad file name.
? Read/Write requested for an off-line drive.
? Bad master directory block.
? Directory not found.
? Not an HFS Volume
? Not a Macintosh disk.
? Volume header corruption.
? Catalog file's node corruption.
All found data in the lost partition is then presented in a tree structure so that you can copy your lost files to a working volume.
